Bunkly Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Bunkly, an attendance tracking, timetable, and bunk planning app. By using Bunkly, you agree to these terms.

Use of the App

Bunkly is provided for personal attendance planning and student organization. You are responsible for the information you enter and for how you use the app's calculations, simulations, reminders, and planning tools.

No Academic Guarantee

Bunkly helps you track and estimate attendance, but it does not guarantee that your college, school, university, or institution will accept its calculations. You should verify important attendance requirements with your institution.

Your Data

You retain responsibility for your data. Bunkly stores data locally on your device and may sync selected app data to your Google Drive app data folder if you enable Google Drive Sync.

Google Drive Sync

If you enable Google Drive Sync, Bunkly may create, read, and update its own hidden sync file in your Google Drive app-specific data folder. Bunkly does not request access to your normal Google Drive files.

You are responsible for signing into the correct Google account and managing access to that account.

Local Backup and Restore

Bunkly may allow you to export and restore local backup files. Restoring a backup may replace current app data. You are responsible for keeping backup files safe and selecting the correct file when restoring.

QR Sharing

Bunkly may allow sharing selected subject and timetable data through QR codes. You are responsible for choosing what to share and with whom you share it.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Bunkly, attempt to disrupt its operation, reverse engineer protected components where prohibited by law, or use the app for unlawful purposes.

Third-Party Services

Bunkly may use third-party services such as Google Sign-In and Google Drive API for optional sync features. Your use of those services is also governed by the third party's own terms and policies.

Availability and Changes

Bunkly may change over time. Features may be added, changed, removed, or temporarily unavailable. The app is provided as-is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

No Warranty

Bunkly is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, no warranties are made regarding accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Bunkly is not liable for academic penalties, attendance issues, data loss, missed reminders, sync conflicts, incorrect calculations, or other damages arising from use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using Bunkly at any time. You may remove the app from your device and manage any connected Google access through your Google account.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The state or region for legal and contact purposes is Delhi.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the "Last updated" date above.
